Mitch brings these experiences to his legal work. He is still a consultant first and uses his experience as a consultant to solve legal problems with a business-minded approach. Whenever he addresses a legal problem, he starts as a consultant, not a lawyer, to use the law to guide the business to what they are trying to achieve.
Too often businesses form with online services or with professionals who provide a form, but don’t provide guidance on how the documents should guide you in your everyday business operations. Some clients forming documents with a non-legal professionals (or advice from the internet!) don’t know anything about the documents they signed to start their business.
The result is clients that don’t understanding their operating agreement and how it impacts their business. Mitch has handled trials where a business owner read their company agreement for the first time in the litigation. Unfortunately, had they understood their own company documents they could have avoided the litigation!
